Hannah Wilson Sampler. The Ackworth Catalog (top right photo) shows that Hannah was student No 974, admitted in the 1787-1788 school year. Located in West Yorkshire, England, the school was founded in 1779 by John Fothergill. Although initially for children of the Society of Friends, students of many faiths attend Ackworth School today.

Thread: Any dark brown silk or cotton floss may be used to stitch this sampler. The linen count will determine the number of strands used. Two to three skeins of floss are needed to complete the sampler.
