Mary Collier's sampler came to me by way of my friend Pam who spied the sampler in an antique shop in Lake Geneva Wisconsin. The image was hardly visible behind the smoke stained glass, but the price was good, so I took a chance. I am so glad I did!
Mary stitched a lovely sampler with Scottish colors and some funky motifs. (The best chicken ever!) She used the initials of her people as a border to surround her life with family. Enjoy her vision!
